Growing up in the old order Amish and then Mennonite communities, we never watched football. While we were Old Order Amish, having a tv was strictly forbidden and if you were caught with one, you were put under the “ban” and shunned until the allotted time of “repentance” was fulfilled. Sneaking over to the neighbors to watch football on their television, wasn’t exactly encouraged either, so I grew up knowing absolutely nothing about football, the rules of the game, or even Super bowl parties until I meant my husband who is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Now I somewhat root for the Kansas City Chiefs (I like watching Mahome’s trick shots) and pretend to know what’s going on at a Super Bowl party, but let’s be real, I’m really only involved for the food. 🙂 Below is a list of our family favorite snack ideas for the Super bowl, and hopefully you will find some tasty options to add to your Super Bowl snack board!
